Check Faulted Zones | Zone light [1-8] will be red indicating open zones. |

Bypass Zones | Enter [*][1][Zone number(s) to be bypassed]. Enter zone number(s) as single digits (1-6). As each zone is bypassed, the zone light will come ON. If a zone is bypassed in error, press that zone number again and the zone light will go OFF indicating that the zone is not bypassed. Press [#] to return to Ready. |
Smoke Detector Silence/Reset | Silence the alarm by entering your Code. Press [*][4] or [*][7] to reset. |

Quick Bypass | Code + [6] Bypass + #. The panel will bypass zones that are open. |
Smoke Detector Silence/Reset | Smoke Detectors mostly reset automatically with these panels when alarm is silenced at the keypad. However, you may have to enter Code + [1] OFF again to reset the smokes. |
Chime Mode On/Off | Code + [9] Chime. |
Change Code | Code + [8] Code + User # + 4 new digits. Most panels require a 2-digit user number. A few panels have 1-digit user numbers. Try a 2-digit user number first. If that doesn’t work, use a 1-digit number. Panels with complex configurations may require alpha keypads to change codes and will ask questions to complete after the above process is done. |

Smoke Detector Silence/Reset | After silencing panel with Code, press [COMMAND][4][7] to reset smokes. * If smoke has not cleared, the alarm may resound. Clear the detectors of smoke and repeat the sequence to reset. |
Chime Mode On/Off | [COMMAND][6] turns on/off the “Watch Mode”. |
Change Code | Please call American Alarm Systems so we can walk you through this code change. Press COMMAND][5][5], Old Code; New Code; New code again. D8112A and D8112E panels, the command is [COMMAND][5]. |
Important Note | If you use Command 55, the user code will be a 6-digit number and the first 2 digits must stay the same (they are the user #). If you use Command 5, the user code will be a 5-digit number and the first digit must stay the same (it is the user #). |
