Referrals

Customers who have peace of mind with an American Alarm Systems security system often share their experiences with their family, friends and colleagues.  We think it is only fair that if you support us, we support you in return.  With our referral program, if you refer us to someone who then becomes a client of American Alarm Systems, Inc., you will receive 3 months free monitoring on your monitored account.

To qualify, ALL of the following requirements must be met:

  • All person(s) you refer must sign up for 24-hour monitoring.
  • You must submit your referral information online by completing the attached form.
  • Only new referrals qualify for the 3 months free monitoring (not to exceed $150).
  • Referral rewards are not retroactive.
  • Referring must be a residential or business customer with an AAS security system installed, active and in good standing.

*No cash value.  Offer subject to change.

Alarm Permits

You may need to obtain a valid alarm permit if you have a monitored security alarm system.  There is usually an annual cost, $25 – $40, associated with maintaining a valid alarm permit.  Each county and city has different requirements.  Contact your county or city for their requirements.

In cities that require alarm permits, there are often increased penalties and fees for false alarms for homeowners who have not obtained an alarm permit.  It is very important to know what your county’s or city’s alarm permit requirements are to avoid the unnecessary cost of fees associated with not having an alarm permit when required.
